Lots Of Updates!

1. As a publisher, we'd like to try out the new Amazon KDP Select programme, which makes our books available to Amazon Prime customers for free. We're only going to try this out with one or two titles initially to see how it works, and we'd like On The Night Bus to be the first one..

As a result of their clause of exclusivity, we've had to take the sample of that book out of Bound (erotic tales of love and lust). In the end, we decided to pull the book altogether as some of the details in it regarding our books have been altered anyway. So it'll take a few weeks for it to disappear entirely from retailers.

In its place, we've brought out Giving In (Three erotic tales of subtle submission). This is our three Quick Bite stories in one bundle for $1.49 (the same price as Bound was). If you bought Bound, don't worry, none of the stories have changed (and you have the added bonus of the poetry and free excerpts), so there's no need for you to buy Giving In, as there's nothing new in it. If you were thinking of buying Bound, you can have Giving In instead.

Giving In can currently be found here on Amazon, on Smashwords, and will be available from other retailers shortly.

2. Because of having to sort out all the above and the extra time it took, On The Night Bus will now be published on 20th Dec.

3. 'Til Death Do Us Part, is today ranked #53 in Romance-Gothic on the Amazon.co.uk Kindle chart :)   It's always nice to be in the top 100, no matter how short a time for :)  Also, a small paperback version of this book will be trialled ... more news on that in a few days.

4. The Sands Of Time is most likely to be postponed until 31st January 2012, although this should be the final postponement now. It's a shame, but there were so many other things that needed to be put in place first before Christmas (and the Christmas rush) that it needed to be done.

5. We have defined our "special edition paperbacks" and what they mean. This is something we will be introducing more of in 2012, as a direct result of experimenting with the paperback versions of The Witching Pen and Bound, as well as noting what our parent imprint Bitten Fruit Books have been trialling over this year. Take a look here: http://www.satinsmoke.com/buying-our-books.html

That's it for now! Thanks for reading, and we'll be back soon with more news :)
